Letters, 1663-1674.

Manuscript copies of nine letters written in England by John Allin to Samuel Jeake and Philip Hryth between 1663 and 1674. Allin makes references to his father, the Rev. John Allin, minister of the Dedham, Massachusetts, church from 1639 to his death. In an 1856 letter accompanying the copied letters, W.D. Cooper writes to J.H. Dillon that the younger Allin was ejected as vicar of Rye, Sussex, under the Bartholomew Act of December, 1662.
